Coast HP550 Flash Light

Coast HP550 Flashlight

The HP550 is a full-size handheld flashlight from Coast, built to keep in a truck, a range bag or a kitchen drawer for nights when the power goes out. It has a wide head and a long barrel that fills the hand, a format that suits outdoor work, camping and general use more than pocket carry.

Features

• Full-Size Handheld Format — The long body and broad head make this a light you hold in the hand or keep in a bag, not one you clip to a pocket.
• Wide Head — The flared head is noticeably larger than the barrel and houses the front lens and reflector.
• Knurled Grip Barrel — Knurling, a fine crosshatch pattern cut into the surface, covers the main body so the light stays put in wet or gloved hands.
• Contoured Neck — A shaped collar between the head and the barrel gives your fingers a natural place to rest.
• Tail Lanyard Point — A hole at the tail end accepts a lanyard or cord, so you can hang the light up or keep it tethered to your wrist.
• Red Accent Ring — A red band near the tail cap makes the light easier to spot in a cluttered bag or glovebox.
• Black Finish — The body is finished in plain black with Coast and HP550 markings on the grip.

Build And Handling

Coast laid out the HP550 for a firm grip: knurling on the barrel, a contoured neck behind the head and a lanyard point at the tail. The broad head and long body give it the weight and reach of a proper work light, and the black finish with its single red accent keeps it understated.
