1911-22 Thread Adapter
The Colt 1911-22 comes from the factory with metric M8x0.75 threads at the muzzle, a size almost no suppressor or muzzle device uses. This United Defense adapter threads onto that factory pitch and gives you a 1/2x28 male thread, the standard size for .22 LR suppressors and rimfire muzzle devices. It suits owners who want to run a can or a compensator on their 1911-22 without having a gunsmith re-cut the barrel.
Features
- M8x0.75 Female Input — The rear of the adapter is threaded internally, right-hand, to match the metric threads on the factory 1911-22 barrel.
- 1/2x28 TPI Male Output — The front carries 1/2x28 right-hand threads, meaning a half-inch diameter with 28 threads per inch, the common rimfire suppressor pattern.
- Suppressor Ready — Lets you mount a .22 LR sound suppressor, the muzzle can that reduces the report of each shot, or another 1/2x28 muzzle device.
- Thread Protector Included — A knurled cap screws over the exposed 1/2x28 threads to guard them from dings and debris when nothing is mounted.
- Knurled Grip Surface — A diamond-pattern texture cut into the protector gives your fingers purchase for installing and removing it by hand.
- Machined Shoulder — A raised flange between the two thread sections gives mounted devices a flat surface to seat against.
- CNC Machined — The adapter is cut on computer-controlled machinery, which holds the thread pitch and concentricity consistent from part to part.
- Black Finish — Both the adapter and protector are finished in black to match the slide and barrel of a standard 1911-22.
Fit and Compatibility
United Defense designed this adapter for the Colt 1911-22, and the same M8x0.75 thread pitch also makes it compatible with the Umarex 1911-22, Walther P22, Walther PPK/S 22 and S&W M&P 22. It installs onto the factory muzzle threads in place of the barrel nut, then accepts any 1/2x28 right-hand device. Check that your suppressor or muzzle device is rated for .22 LR before mounting it.

Fits on my 1911-22Put this on my Colt 1911-22 so I could run my suppressor. Threaded right on with no issues and the protector is a nice bonus. Went to the range same week I got it and everything cycled fine. Great little add on for the price.

Perfect Fit On My 1911Swapped out the factory barrel and this thing threaded right on no issues at all. Took maybe 30 seconds to install and my suppressor mounted up perfectly with no wobble.

Finally runs my suppressor on this thingBeen wanting to put my 1/2x28 can on my Colt 1911-22 forever and this adapter made it super easy, just swap out the factory barrel nut and youre good to go, took me maybe two minutes in the garage with no special tools. Fit was snug and it threaded right onto my suppressor with zero wobble.
Overall though this is EXACTLY what I needed and its solid quality for the price.
