Compact Steel Boot Dagger

The CRKT Sting is a small double-edged dagger designed by A.G. Russell. Blade and handle are cut from a single piece of carbon steel, so there are no handle scales to loosen and no joints to fail. At 6.88 inches overall it is short enough to carry on a boot or belt, and the included sheath has two hook-and-loop straps for exactly that.

Features

• Double-Edge Spear Point — Both edges are sharpened and meet at a centered point, which gives the blade a straight, symmetrical profile for thrusting.
• One-Piece Carbon Steel Build — The blade and handle are a single piece of steel, often called integral construction, with nothing bolted or glued on.

Build and Carry

Because the Sting has no separate handle, the steel runs the full length of the knife and the black powder coat covers all of it. Carbon steel takes a keen edge and is easy to resharpen, though it benefits from a light wipe of oil if it gets wet. The sheath grips the handle through its plastic insert, and the two straps let you position the knife on a boot, belt or pack strap where it suits your carry.
