Pleasantly SurprisedPicked this up specifically to round out a small Croatian HV impression I've been putting together over the last couple years. The woodland camo pattern is authentic M81-derivative used by Croatian forces post-independence not the same weave as US M81 BDU fabric, it's a slightly coarser canvas construction which is exactly right for the period. Mine came with pencil writing on the inside of the cover flap (a name and what looks like a unit number) which I actually love that's provenance. Condition grade I'd call a solid Grade B: some very minor fading on one corner panel, but stitching is tight everywhere including the shoulder strap attachment points, which is usually where these old surplus satchels give out first. Velcro closure on the flap is still strong and not matted down. Dimensions are roughly 12x9x3 inches which is spot-on for what I've seen described across multiple surplus sellers including Epic Militaria's listing out of the UK so this appears to be the same genuine issued item, not a repro. At the Keep Shooting price it's a bargain compared to importing one from Europe.

Looks AmazingHonestly wasnt sure what to expect ordering surplus gear online but this thing blew me away, the M81 woodland camo pattern is super close to the old US military style and it just looks sharp. It holds my wallet, phone, a small flashlight and still has room left over. The cotton material is way thicker than I thought it would be, this is NOT some cheap knockoff bag its the real deal. Only wish it had a small inner pocket or two to keep things organized but thats a minor thing and for the price I really cant complain at all.

No internal pockets or organizer slots inside but for the price its not a deal breaker

Got my camo bag, love itThe bag feels like it’s straight outta a 1980’s surplus store – the cotton’s a bit stiff at first but softens after a few uses. I use it for commuting and the camo pattern gets compliments, though some people ask if it’s “real military gear.”
For $10.95 it’s a decent piece of history turned everyday carry.
No interior pockets for smaller stuff.

Awesome little bag for day hikesI needed a simple lightweight bag for short hikes where I just carry the basics like a water bottle trail mix my phone and maybe a small first aid kit. This Croatian shoulder bag is exactly that. Its not trying to be a full backpack its just a solid simple bag that gets the job done. The adjustable strap lets me wear it crossbody which keeps it from bouncing around when im on uneven terrain. The woodland camo actually looks really cool on the trail and the cotton material is breathable so it doesnt get all sweaty against my side like nylon bags do. For 11 dollars this is the perfect grab and go bag when you dont want to bring a full pack. Already thinking about getting a second one to keep in my truck.
