This is a warm-weather sleeping bag issued to the Czech Armed Forces, built for nights when a heavy winter bag would leave you sweating. • 3M Thinsulate Insulation — Thinsulate is a synthetic fill made of very fine fibers that trap warmth without bulk, and this bag uses a summer-weight layer meant for warm temperatures.
• Mummy Cut — The bag tapers from shoulders to feet like a mummy case, which cuts down on empty space your body has to heat and saves weight.
• Integrated Mosquito Head Net — A fine mesh net is built into the hood and closes over your face to keep insects off while you sleep.
• YKK Anti-Snag Zipper — A heavy-duty YKK zipper runs on a slant down the front and is designed to resist catching on the fabric as you open and close it.
• Polyamide Shell — The outer fabric is 100% polyamide, the technical name for nylon, in OD green (olive drab, the standard military green).
• Orange Liner — The inside is lined in bright orange, a strong contrast to the green exterior.
• Zippered Hood Pocket — A small zippered pocket near the hood holds a headlamp, phone or keys within reach.

Czech Army Issue

This bag was made for and issued by the Czech military, which makes it genuine government field equipment rather than a commercial camping bag in army colors. It measures roughly 80.7 x 28.7 in (205 x 73 cm) laid flat and weighs about 2.6 lb (1.2 kg), light enough to strap under a pack or tuck into a vehicle kit. The bag and its compression sack come together, so it is ready to pack out of the box.
