East German Interior Ministry Gold 30-Year Service Medal with Ribbon

The East German Interior Ministry Gold 30-Year Service Medal with Ribbon is an authentic award from the former East German Ministry of the Interior.  This award was issued to armed forces (STASI, etc.) organized under the Ministry of the Interior in recognition of 20-years of service.  The Ministry of the Interior had a goal of strengthening and consolidation of power in East Germany, so those who were given this award played a large role in East German society.  These are the last from original East German stocks, and once they are gone, there will be no more!
