FN SCAR 17S® Magazine

The FN SCAR 17S is a semi-automatic variant of the SCAR-H, a modular assault rifle originally designed in the mid-2000s for the United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM). Featuring an interchangeable 16.25-inch barrel, the SCAR 17S utilizes a rotating bolt and a gas-operated short-stroke piston system. The SCAR 17S is fully ambidextrous and chambered for the 7.62x51mm NATO cartridge.

The FN SCAR® 17S magazine is an FN Herstal factory-produced magazine for the FN SCAR® 17S platform. The magazine is designed to hold and feed a standard capacity of 20 rounds of 7.62x51mm NATO or .308 Winchester ammunition. Its durable steel body features a black oxide finish that protects it from rust and other corrosion. Its polymer follower and steel spring provide for smooth and consistent feeds. Also noteworthy is the unique design, which features an extended polymer floor plate that assists in the removal of the magazine from pouches while also protecting it when dropped.
