Great Replacement for Worn PlateI had a question about the mounting holes and the customer service reps got back to me same day, which I appreciated. This butt plate replaces my cracked original and feels rock solid on the feild. It's a bit heavier than the polymer plates I used before, but the added mass actually steadies the rifle. Only downside is you can't swap it out for a modular rail system.

8 bucks for genuine Bundeswehr parts, yes pleaseBeen slowly restoring my PTR-91 to look like a proper G3A3 and this butt plate was one of the last pieces I needed. Its the real deal German army surplus — the olive drab color matches the original HK furniture perfectly and the fit on my stock was dead on with zero modification. The polymer is thick and solid, no cracks or warping even after sitting in some German armory for who knows how many decades. At $8 this is basically free compared to what people charge for genuine HK parts on GunBroker. Grabbed 2 just in case.

Perfect FitI've been restoring my HK G3 to original military spec and this butt plate was exactly the part I needed to complete the project. It snapped right into place with a perfect fit and the olive drab color matches the rest of my rifle beautifully.

New, unused conditionI was very pleased with this item. Looks brand new, never used. I purchased this to replace the used butt plate on my newly purchased PTR-91 which came with used plastic furniture. The green color of the butt plate is a different shade of green than the stock but it still looks nice and is in new condition.

Slightly different green color compared to the buttstock on the gun. There is a gap between the center portions of the buttplate and buttstock when installed.
