Lost my last one to TSA.
Review by Alexah R.
Can we all agree that TSA sometimes sucks? I had to surrender mine to the bin when I forgot to put this little wonder in my checked bag coming home from Tampa.

I. Love. This. Knife!

It’s small & light enough that you barely know it’s in your pocket (see above TSA issue). It’s also super sharp out of the container, the serrated blade is perfect and their warranty is second to none. I’d had one for 7 years when the blade locking mechanism failed. I let them know on the Gerber website and they sent me a new one.

It isn’t flashy, it isn’t automatic, but it’s a great addition to your everyday needs. You’ll be surprised how often you’ll use it!

Great every day carry knife
Review by Lawonda N.
I like to have a knife in my pocket every day. This one is sharp, light, versatile, handy and inexpensive. A big plus is the half serrated edge for cardboard, rope, etc.

Very sharp, stiff mechanism
Review by Sevag C.
I'm impressed with how sharp the tip of this knife was, right of the box.

However, the folding lock mechanism on my knife borders on the annoying; It took me a few tries before I found a comfortable way of folding the knife together safely.

In addition - and this is a minor thing - it seems as if my knife had rubbed up against other metal objects, perhaps other knives during the manufacturing process. Thus, the sandblasted finish was slightly marred, straight out of the (sealed) packaging. Given that I bought this knife to use, this very minor cosmetic issue isn't a problem, I'd say.

To sum up, it's a nice sharp knife, albeit with a too stiff folding lock. In my opinion, it's good value, even though this serrated version cost more that the plain edge version.

Love this knife but...
Review by Kristyna S.
I love the weight, look, straight/serrated blade, and clip. My only complaint is the lack of a thumb knob/hole for one handed opening.

Great
Review by Brice D.
Great little knife! Had it for a few years now and use it frequently. I have noticed the screw to hold the blade on is coming loose but again, I have been using it heavily for three years. Easy adjustment.

Tiny and way too hard to open and close
Review by Charnelle N.
This knife is teeny tiny. They should have put that in there that it is way too small. And way too hard to open. Or close. I hate this knife I can't even give it to my kid who's 8 years old

Sleek and durable. If you have bigger hands maybe not for you but there is a larger size. Sharp and well made, it’s Gerber after all. The finish is perfect.

Not a very sharp point.
Review by Jacey V.
I used this primarily for breaking down boxes. The tip is just not designed to be sharp enough to do this well. I have sharpened it with my Spyderco sharpener and it still is not great for boxes. Ended up buying a $9 Smith and Wesson which works fantastic. The Gerber is a good knife just not good for what I need,

I've purchased several of these-but $10 extra for partial seration now??
Review by Gretta V.
I've purchased multiples of these knives. They are good at holding an edge, easy to clean, don't rust and the combo blade is very handy in a small knife. On one of my knives the blade won't stay tight though otherwise they're great to have. I've gone through 4 or so over the last 5 years. When I purchased mine they were in the $6-10 range, I don't think the combo blade is worth the extra $10 over the straight blade.
