Actually largeBought this expecting another cheap reproduction with blurry pattern. Pleasantly surprised genuine Flecktarn colors, sharp definition, proper Bundeswehr-style print. The size is 27" square, not the 22" most "large" bandanas claim. Fabric is mid-weight cotton, not tissue-thin like Amazon specials. Hem is double-stitched, no loose threads. The Flecktarn is the current German military pattern, not the old "rain" pattern or some knockoff. Colors are green-heavy, brown-tan accents, black spots — correct.
Use it for everything: neck gaiter in cold, head wrap in sun, face cover in dust, emergency tourniquet pad once. Washed it three times, minimal fading, softening nicely.
