Authentic Bundeswehr Surplus.....Way Better Than Repros!!The lenses are crystal clear plastic, no scratches, and the rubber seal around the face is still supple even though these have been sitting in some depot for decades. I collect Cold War era Bundeswehr kit and these fit right in with my tanker helmet and flecktarn setup. The elastic headband still has good tension and the snap-in lens system is clever engineering... very German. Build quality is miles ahead of any airsoft repro garbage on Amazon.

Better Than ReprosMine came in original packaging with the Auer markings visible on the frame thats the legit manufacturer that supplied the Bundeswehr for decades. The metal adjustment bands are solid brass underneath the rubber coating, way more durable than the plastic clips you see on HQ ISSUE surplus. Lenses are crystal clear polystyrene, not glass but honestly better for weight. The rubber seal creates a proper seal against your face, no dust gets through even when I'm out on my Ural sidecar rig doing 60 on dirt roads. These are basically the same pattern issued since the 40s, the Wehrmacht used nearly identical Windschutzbrillen. For the price you're getting genuine history that still functions perfectly.

Decent eye protection, minor complaintsNot gonna lie i was skeptical at first but these surprised me. The rubber seal is way better then i expected and the lenses are crystal clear. My only gripe is they run a little small on my face, had to stretch the strap out. But overall pretty happy with what i got for the price.
