Excellent Reproduction, Correct Details ThroughoutThis is a solid repro of a late-war WWII German K98 sling. The cross-hatching embossing is correct, and the leather feels supple and appropriately finished nowhere near as thin as some cheap copies you find on eBay. The steel hardware has a proper darkened finish I was concerned about rust, but after six months of display it shows zero pitting. The sling matches the original dimensions. I've compared this directly against an original I picked up from Waffenmeisters a few years ago, and while the leather on the original has that deep patina age brings, the craftsmanship here is respectable. If you're building a late-war K98 impression and don't have $150+ for a genuine 1944-dated piece, this delivers authentic looks at a fraction of the cost. Fits my Kar98k through-stock perfectly.

Perfect fit for my Russian Capture K98Bought this for my RC K98 that came with no sling. The leather is surprisingly thick and high quality for the price much better than the cheap nylon slings floating around. Installation took two minutes, no gunsmithing required. The color matches my rifle's stock perfectly. For $13 you can't beat this when original wartime slings are going for crazy money. Mine arrived with that distinct leather smell that tells you it's the real deal, not synthetic.
