IDF-Issued Folding Stock

This side-folding stock was issued to the Israel Defense Forces for the US .30 M1 Carbine, including paratroopers who needed a shorter rifle for jumping and vehicle work. Folded, it cuts the carbine's overall length for carry and storage. Opened, it gives you a full shoulder stock with a pistol grip. The IDF retired these stocks in the 1980s, and they now go to M1 Carbine owners, collectors and reenactors looking for authentic Israeli-issued furniture.

Fit and Provenance

Israel used the M1 Carbine for decades, and this folding Choate stock was the IDF's answer to making it more compact.
