No Step On Snek Morale Patch

Gadsden Meme Patch

The No Step On Snek patch from United Defense is a morale patch, the kind of unofficial, non-regulation patch people add to packs, caps, jackets and gear to show some personality. It reworks the classic Gadsden flag, the coiled rattlesnake over "Don't Tread on Me," into its well-known internet meme version. A cartoonish snake sits in a tuft of grass above the misspelled slogan, all stitched on a gold background.

Features

• Fully Embroidered Design — The snake, grass and lettering are all stitched in thread rather than printed, so the artwork has raised texture and holds its color.
• Gadsden Flag Parody — The design swaps the original flag's formal rattlesnake and motto for the meme's loosely drawn snake and "No Step On Snek" wording.
• Gold Field — A yellow-gold background echoes the color of the traditional Gadsden flag.
• Merrowed Border — A tight overlock stitch in matching gold thread wraps the entire edge to keep the patch from fraying.
• Red Tongue Detail — A forked red tongue stands out against the black-outlined snake.
• Green Grass Accent — Light green stitching around the coil places the snake in the grass, as in the original meme art.
• Hand-Lettered Text — Bold black lettering in a rough, drawn-by-hand style matches the meme's look.
• Rounded Rectangle Shape — Rounded corners give the patch a clean outline and avoid sharp points that can catch or lift.

Stitching and Build

United Defense builds this patch in dense embroidery over a woven base, using four thread colors: black, red, green and gold. The merrowed edge finishes the perimeter cleanly. It is a good fit for anyone who appreciates the Gadsden flag with a sense of humor, whether it goes on a range bag, a cap or a plate carrier.
