Space Force Breacher Bar

The KA-BAR Bridge Breacher is a one-piece steel pry bar built for forcing entry, prying, cutting and turning stubborn fittings when a knife is the wrong tool for the job. KA-BAR designed it for urban rescue, military operations and survival use. This edition carries an etched US Space Force emblem on the bar. It rides in a pack, vehicle or go-bag as the heavy tool you reach for once finesse has run out.

• 1095 Cro-Van Steel — A high-carbon steel with added chromium and vanadium, which help it resist wear and hold up to hard prying.
• One-Piece Construction — The tool is a single solid piece of steel with no moving parts, so there is no joint or hinge to work loose under load.
• Pry Bar Tip — The notched, flat working end slips into gaps between doors, frames and lids so you can lever them apart.

• Slotted Wrench Opening — A stepped slot through the bar fits over nuts and valves of different sizes so you can turn them with the bar as a lever.
• 57-59 HRC Hardness — Rated on the Rockwell C scale, the standard measure of steel hardness, which balances edge retention against the toughness a pry tool needs.
• Blue Plastisol Handle — The grip end is dipped in Plastisol, a thick vinyl coating that gives a more secure hold than bare steel.

Size And Build

The Bridge Breacher measures 13 in (33 cm) overall and is cut from 0.25 in (6.4 mm) thick stock. It weighs 1.6 lb (about 0.73 kg), heavy enough to put real force into a pry without being a burden in a pack. Because the blade, pry tip and wrench are all part of the same bar, all the leverage you apply goes into the work.
