The Kershaw Lucha Butterfly Knife is a high quality butterfly knife that's made in the USA. Using next level materials that include a 14C28N stainless steel blade and all-steel handle, this butterfly knife is for those who demand the best. Next level performance from the Lucha comes from Kershaw's meticulous design. For instance, the blade tapers so that the top has more weight to pendulum around smoothly. This light, fast butterfly knife will jump, fly, and spin in your hands from the moment you pick it up as it was designed with feedback from real flippers.

Kershaw Lucha Butterfly Knife
14C28N Stainless Steel Blade
Rounded Handle Bevels For Smooth Roll In Hand
Dual KVT Ball Bearing Pivots For Ultra-Smooth Flipping

A bit heavy on the grip side. However this thing flips easily and smoothly. I was surprised at how long the blade was given the multiple trainers I've used previously. Definitely worth it, this has quickly become a go to edc knife for me.

Best quality butterfly knife for the price !!!

Review byScotty H.

I did a lot of research before I bought this for my son. He wanted a squid industries butterfly knife $300- $500 for one of those!!!!! So after research into sturdy design, good ratings from several sites. I decided this is this best bang for the buck, bonus for those of you that mod these out there the handles can be upgraded to titanium if you want to make it lighter.

Solid Knife

Review byKrishan T.

This is probably my favorite balisong I've purchased over the years. Very solid, no blade play, sharp, smooth, and it's more gorgeous in person. My only minor complaint is that it's a bit bouncy when you flip it, but that's a matter of preference. Great buy

Large knife. Exactly what I was looking for. Perfectly balanced?...Don't know where they came up with that. Smooth...no play, sure. Great knife. Now I just need to find an aftermarket pocket clip so I can EDC it.

Incredible quality for entry level flipper

Review byEdmon L.

I absolutely love this knife. For the price it is is incredible. A little heavy and the latch leaves a little to be desired but those are trivial when you look at the price to quality that the Lucha delivers. All in all, Kershaw hit it out of the park with this one. And it comes sharp AF. KS had the best price by far!

More quality from kershaw

Review byBary D.

Another quality knife from kershaw. I'm not very good at tricks, but I have other, more expensive balisongs, and this lucha is better, especially for the price. It is lighter and better balanced than the bm 62 I have (the only one I wish I didn't buy) and 1/4 of the price. Not a bm hater, I have 2 51's and love them. I can't wait to see what they come out with next.

Nearly perfect! No sheath though.

Review byDulan J.

I love this knife. I used to have an original handmade one that I got back in the early 80's. The Lucha is much lighter and thinner profile. Came really sharp, too! Operation is as smooth as butter, and the locking tab is designed so it cannot get in the way of closing. You will love this blade!

Awesome lucha

Review byIsak X.

The lucha is awesome for the price, I wanted to get more serious with flipping this year and the lucha fit the criteria the quality is pretty good flipping is smooth but the handles are a little skinny but nothing you can't get used too so learning tricks aren't to bad to learn on it and the blade out the box is pretty sharp already been cut a few times from it but I highly recommend anyone looking into getting flipping to pick up the lucha

Good buy

Review byTimoteo B.

This is my first balisong but I couldn’t pass it up from all the reviews I saw/ read and what people were saying about it in knife forums, in saying that I don’t have experience in what a good or bad one is but my coworker was looking at a number of them and said it by far was the best operating, built, and tightest one he’d put hands on. For the price and the quality of knife I’m exceptionally pleased. A lot of reviews commented on how heavy it was but as a edc knife and because its all steel it complements the knife and it’s ruggedness nicely so I actually think it’s well fitted but I’m not a flipper, only enough to open and close it. Note: it’s huge to use as a edc even though I have decently sized hands but holds a edge, it’s pretty cool, and does the job well.

Kershaw quality

Review byMichel C.

Beautiful knife, handles are on the heavy side, center balance of the knife is definitely towards the handle side when open. Locking latch is very tight but better tight than loose, it should loosen in time or I’m sure I can help it along. The size of the knife is fine but would also like to have one in a smaller size.

Excellent affordable bali!!!

Review byJonny R.

There is only two things you can nitpick about this balisong... It's heavy and it's noisy. Because of the weight it KINDA hurts your fingers if you're learning. The noise is only annoying to people around you but they'll be more worried about the knife anyway. ;) For the money there is no better balisong!!!

Good 1st attempt

Review byBaxter X.

Great knife. Flips smooth with zero resistance, almost too fast. My knuckles are taking a beating on fast tricks. Only grips are the blade tip is too thin. Tip is likely to break off in a rib if ever used, or dropped wrong. And the grind on the back of the blade concentrates the impact of the blade on my finger. I have to choke my my up on the scales. I would prefer a blunted spine on the back of the blade. I foresee Kershaw adding tension O rings to the tang to slow down the handles a little. All in all good but but 3 small tweaks and this knife would be top tear and give $300-$500 balisongs a run for their money.

Review byMariah B.

It came today. I am 63 and have handled many knives of all sorts over the years. This is easily one of the finest. I am not a flipper and have no use for that (other than to open and close) The balance in the hand and the super smooth operation of this knife are superb. It is not overly sharp but that is easy remedied.
