Magpul PMAG 10 for AK

The Magpul PMAG 10 AK is a 10-round polymer magazine for 7.62x39mm Kalashnikov-pattern rifles. Ten rounds is the limit in a number of US states, and many ranges and hunting seasons use it too. The short body also helps at the bench or in the prone position, where a standard 30-round AK magazine hits the ground before the rifle sits level.

Features

• 10-Round Capacity — Holds ten rounds of 7.62x39mm, the standard AK-47 and AKM cartridge, which is molded into the side of the body.
• Impact-Resistant Polymer Body — The black polymer shell is light and tough, and it will not dent the way thin steel magazines can.
• Constant-Curve Geometry — The inside follows a steady curve that matches the tapered 7.62x39mm case, so rounds stack evenly and feed in line with the chamber.
• Anti-Tilt Follower — The orange follower, the platform the cartridges ride on, is shaped so it cannot tip sideways and jam, and its bright color makes an empty magazine easy to spot.

Fit and Compliance

The magazine fits AK-47, AKM, AKS, SIG556R and other Kalashnikov-pattern rifles chambered in 7.62x39mm. It hooks into the magazine well with the usual AK rock-in motion, front lug first. Because it is US-made, it counts as three parts toward 922(r) compliance, the federal rule that limits how many imported parts a rifle assembled in the US may contain.
