This is the Magpul PMAG 30 AR/M4 Gen M3 Window, a 30-round polymer magazine for AR-15 and M4-pattern rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm. The clear window down the side shows how many rounds are left without pulling the magazine or press-checking the rifle. It suits range shooters, competitors and anyone building a stack of matching magazines for a home-defense or training rifle.

Fit and Markings

The PMAG 30 AR/M4 is sized for the standard AR-15 magazine well, so it drops into the same rifles as a conventional GI-style aluminum magazine. The body is black, with the caliber, model, maker and NSN reference lines molded into the left side. NSN stands for National Stock Number, the catalog code the military uses to identify items it buys. A molded date wheel on the right side records when the magazine was made.
