Cotton Canvas BDU Belt

The Mil-Tec Canvas Belt is a plain, hard-wearing trouser belt in the BDU style, the simple webbing belt worn with Battle Dress Uniform pants. It closes with a double-ring slide buckle instead of a pin and holes, so it sets to whatever fit you want. Wear it with cargo pants, surplus fatigues or work trousers when a leather belt is too stiff or too formal.

Build And Fit

Mil-Tec makes this belt as a commercial item, not issued surplus, built around one strip of cotton canvas webbing and a two-ring buckle. To fasten it, feed the tail through both rings, then back over the first ring and through the second, and pull it snug. Since sizing comes from where you set the buckle rather than from punched holes, one belt covers a wide range of waists and layers of clothing.
