The perfect modern take on the classic USGI angleheadMil-Tec hits all the right nostalgia notes while actually being useful. The Flecktarn camo pattern is spot-on authentic German Bundeswehr style, way more interesting than the plain olive drab everyone else has. Love that they kept the classic anglehead form factor but swapped in a proper LED my original incandescent USGI ones are basically shelf queens now because the bulbs are impossible to find and the runtime was terrible anyway. The color filters are a nice touch (red for night vision preservation, blue for blood tracking if youre into that) though honestly I mostly just run it white. Switch has that satisfying click with the morse function just like the originals. . The holding clip is surprisingly sturdy and the safety eyelet is period-correct. Already ordered the OD green version for my surplus kit.
