Molon Labe Flag

Spartan Molon Labe Flag

This Rothco flag puts a white Spartan helmet and the Greek words ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ (Molon Labe, "come and take them") on a black field. The phrase is the reply attributed to King Leonidas of Sparta when told to surrender his army's weapons, and it has become a common Second Amendment slogan. At 3 x 5 feet, it suits a porch pole, a garage wall, a range shed or a man cave.

Features

• 3 x 5 Foot Size — The flag measures 36 x 60 inches (about 91 x 152 cm), the usual size for a house-mounted pole or a wall display.
• 100% Polyester Fabric — The polyester flag is made to hang outdoors in the weather as well as indoors.
• Two Metal Grommets — Reinforced eyelets at the top and bottom of the hoist edge, the side that runs along the pole, let you clip the flag to a halyard or hang it from hooks.
• White Header Strip — A white fabric band along the hoist edge carries the grommets and keeps them clear of the printed design.
• Spartan Helmet Graphic — A large crested Greek helmet sits at the center of the flag in solid white.
• Greek Lettering — ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ runs beneath the helmet in classical Greek capitals rather than the English spelling.
• Black And White Design — The two-color layout gives strong contrast, so the helmet and lettering read clearly from across a yard or room.
• Rothco Brand — Made by Rothco, a commercial maker of military-style and tactical gear, not government issue.

Hanging And Display

The grommets fit standard flagpole clips, and they also work with nails, screw hooks or zip ties if you want the flag flat on a wall or across a fence. The design is printed on a single layer of polyester, so the black field and white artwork cover the whole face of the flag.
