PPU 7.62x39 Blank Ammo - 15rd Box

7.62x39 Blank Cartridges

PPU 7.62x39mm blanks give you the report of a live round without firing a bullet. They are made for reenactors, film and stage crews, ceremonial details and trainers who need rifles in the AK and SKS family to make noise safely at a distance. Each box holds 15 cartridges from PPU (Prvi Partizan), a commercial ammunition maker.

Features

• 7.62x39mm Chambering — Sized for the intermediate rifle cartridge used by the AK-47, AKM, SKS and similar rifles.
• Blank Load — Each cartridge holds a powder charge and primer but no projectile, so it produces muzzle flash and report only.
• Crimped Case Mouth — The neck of the case is folded closed instead of holding a bullet, which keeps the powder sealed inside.
• Red Lacquer Seal — Red sealant on the crimped tip helps keep moisture out and makes blanks easy to tell apart from live ammunition.
• Brass Cases — Each round uses a brass case with a bottleneck profile matching standard 7.62x39mm dimensions.
• 15-Round Box — Packed in a plain white carton labeled with caliber, round count and lot number.
• 20-Meter Warning — The box states the rounds are dangerous to shoot within 20 meters (about 65 feet).

Use And Safety

A blank still throws hot gas, burning powder and debris from the muzzle, so treat every round as hazardous at close range and never point the rifle at anyone. Semi-automatic rifles usually need a blank-firing adapter, a muzzle device that restricts gas flow so the action cycles, to run blanks without manual operation. Keep blanks stored apart from live ammunition, and check local regulations before buying or using them.
