Sealed Pouch Fire Starter

QuickSurvive Fire Starter gets a fire going when the kindling is damp, the wind is up, or you just want the charcoal lit without lighter fluid. Each sealed pouch is the fire starter itself: light a corner with a match or lighter and it burns for up to 10 minutes at over 750°F, long enough to catch wet wood. The pack holds 12 pouches and belongs in a bug-out bag, a vehicle kit, or a drawer by the grill or fireplace.

Uses and Storage

QuickSurvive designed the pouches for charcoal BBQ grills, fireplaces, fire pits and wood-burning stoves, as well as survival and camping use, and the maker rates them safe for cooking. The 12 pouches come in a resealable stand-up bag that stores flat in a pack, glovebox or cabinet. Because the pouches are waterproof and have a 30-year shelf life, you can stash a few in every kit and leave them there.
