Romanian Army Wool Sweater

Perfect product. Bought it a few days ago but still fits like a glove after 2 weeks of washing in 40 C and a dryer to shorten it to my 86 cm lenght.. Will probably be able to dry it on the windy beach to get that perfect looking. Its perfect if you have long arms but its comfortable even if it reaches your finger tips. Just what I was searching for..

Just what I wanted and fit perfect!

I got this item as a birthday present for my boyfriend, who happens to be in the army. I have a few pieces from the brand and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. The material is thicker than what I thought it would be, but also very soft and cozy. My boyfriend loved it and now it's my new wishlist item.

The arms a bit longer then expected but a good sweater. Nice and thick with good wool feel to it. Nice looking sweater and for a man 6 foot and over. The price a very reasonable for the quality. Not an off brand sweater either.

Tis the season for chunky clothing and what better then this beater! The perfect balance between being a wool coat but the flexibility of being part of your work uniform. You need this, just like they do in every European kitchen

Perfect for a woman's fit

I had my doubts about the price when I bought this, being an "authentic" German army piece. My only expectation was for a similar product from a different source, and this product far exceeded those. I'm really pleased with the construction, feel, and general appearance of this item. For the few coins you drop here, this piece will bring a ton of pleasure to you, in addition to its usefulness in any situation that might arise to where the tactical advantages of such an item would be beneficial to you! :) My experience and feedback are not just an opinion.

I purchased the Sweater in green color , and exactly what I expected. Fits perfectly and warm, I love it.

Bought this in purple because I wanted to buy a heavy weight olive drab to wear as an accent sweater and had to return it because it was nothing like the thick heavy cotton that it looked like in the photo

Sweater is well made and very comfortable

Fits very large but I was able to shrink down a bit with heat and handwash. Not to bad after a few alterations and an awesome soft fleece lining! The shell is very durable. Love it.

Very good and heavy but will turn a very dark brown color when washed. Will stain other colors if worn after washing another color. I'm looking for something lighter.

I ordered this for my buddy in Berlin. He likes simple things and wears stuff from a young age till the end of his life. The quality is fantastic and so is the material, not very thick. Wish it had one pocket on the front, but not a deal breaker. Very cool for German winters. Would definitely recommend

This sweater was exactly what I was looking for. It is heavyweight, not insulated but a nice thicker wool. My dad had a similar sweater and it's one of my favorite things he ever owned. Not very breathable so don't plan on wearing this for anything strenuous but if it keeps you warm in the house and you want something a little less traditional than the more "puffy" look you're going for then this is perfect. I'm glad I bought it.

This item shipped from outside the US so it took about 2 weeks to arrive but well worth the wait! The Military sweater was exactly as advertised and fit perfectly. Very comfortable and warm as well! Highly recommend!!

Great material. Thick and soft.

I ordered a medium size and it fit perfectly! Nice to have a little extra room, as this may get worn over layers in the fall and winter. Just great! Fits just right, looks nice. No complaints here! Wish I could get more in the other colors.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Very comfortable, thick material. It is warm, but in the winter, don't forget to layer underneath. I would buy again, and in fact, I am going to buy a dark green and maroon for this fall. Well worth the money.

Not quite up to the quality I expected but very warm. Sleeves are very big. Not good if you have big biceps. It's a very heavy material. Good for the woods. Worth buying for the right person. It would be a waste for a skinny person with big biceps. Good with big biceps.

My son is happy with the sweater. Warm, fits good and is made of quality material. Happy son means happy Mom! ????????

My older US Army knit top cover has a large OD tag on the sleeve that I had seen while at The Presidio Officers Club in SF many years ago when it still sold those US Military "Demerins' that I liked for outdoors camping but then only in khaki and red which is not this one now in OD only in darker Green and Black and I never thought I'd ever see one again and only the cold weather gear section at Sports Authority had them on its sales floor which is just up the hill on the left hand corner when entering through the heavy solid metal and stainless revolving oak style door from El Monte Blvd., next store is Monroe Door Installation, anyhow this OD Green and Black knit pullover was perfect but the tags on the sweater say, "Size Large - One Size Only - Machine Wash" (the US Army Deemer was a size Large back then but the current label I found was Medium Regular which is correct and as for the size the sweater is perfect for a 5' 11", 185 lb, 44 yr old retired person with a lot of physical labor in his recent past and today he wears mostly Large Regular fitting shirts but when you see a sweater that has, for it, the price it does it gets ordered and he liked it and the medium fit him fine but would be tight if any underwear was worn beneath it and of course he is a small framed guy with a large rib cage as he once carried a pack of tools for work weighing about 30 to 35 lbs and then during the two times in his life he worked for a local moving company, which each move took 3 days with many miles walked, on many steps climbed with many twists and turn on stairs and lots of physical labor but even in his military days, all 5 ft 11 inches of it was once an orderly with full back pack who marched daily the mile plus up and down two long wide open steep dirt hills of a Camp in El Paso and another such "land' unseen 6

The color looks exactly like it shows, it has tags from wearing and from airport tags but its as new and warm!

Good quality. But large not what I ordered.

The item fits my son-in-law and was ordered one size larger than his.

It's made in Italy and appears to be a pretty basic sweater, nothing spectacular, no fashion bells and whistles. However the waist tie should come a bit further out of the sweater, I had to tie it at an odd angle. And, the zipper looks like it's just an extra plastic flap, rather than being integral to the metal zipper inside, and doesn't meet the zipper on the left side very well, leaving a space, you can't really see but makes it not look very neat. The lining is made of acrylic and I'm sure it's going to start getting stiff with time, hopefully it's not 100% acrylic, I can't stand stuff made of 100% anything (i.e. man made, i.e. not organic). I would have liked to get it in green and the green acrylic version has a really crummy looking logo (it's the second picture on the right in the second row), that looks cheap and I think is in a totally different font than what the red and white one is. The green acrylic one also has some seams and patches that don't meet very well. And if the fabric or acrylic version is as bad as the red and white acrylic version is, I would recommend a 5.11 tapered hooded sweater. It looks a bit different but if it's got similar fabric or acrylic I don't think it would wear as well. Or if your very tough, maybe try to pick up a German Hooded Parka. (Holy grail of cold war jackets!) If you can get a 45Navi and or Japanese gear this thing will feel cheap, and the other brands that 45Navi or Japanese gear is compatible with will likely cost more than this one does by itself.
