Rothco BDU Shorts Size Chart

How to Measure: Measure horizontally from end to end around the waistband for the waist. For the hip width, measure horizontally from the outside of one leg hole to the other. The inseam length can be found by measuring from the crotch down to the end of the BDU Shorts. To find the outseam length, measure from the top edge of the waistband to the bottom edge of the hem.

GI Issue - What a surprise.

For 15 bucks what did I expect ?, high quality, or a well made item ?, NO, all I expected was a low priced item, thats about it. The surprise was that they are almost GI issue , and are extremely well made, but then I guess they have to be for price point. If these had of cost $40 or more I would have bought 2 pairs, they are that well made. These are well stitched, the material is good, there are very small, and tightly stitched inner seams, and the pockets on both the front and the cargo pockets, on both the front and back pockets, are extremely sturdy, so I would expect that these are GI Issue shorts that have been marked up 15 dollars.

They are 2-3" too long and 1-2" too wide, I was disappointed that they did not come with the hidden button fly that is standard in the rest of my bdu pants, but all in all I think they will serve me well as work shorts. I would have preferred the rip stop material for summer use but they seem well constructed. The adjustable waist makes the fit adjustable. I would not use these to cover an entrenching tool as they would not retain it, but the other MIL-SPEC features seem to make these durable. It will be interesting to see how they wear.

Very nice shorts. Great camo print. A zipper instead of buttons is a big plus. I normally wear 36" and they fit fine. Would definitely recommend. They wash and dry great too. Good quality. I bought a second pair
