The Rothco Forced Entry Tactical Boot is an all-black, high-top lace-up boot for long shifts on hard floors, pavement and rough ground. A smooth leather toe and heel give it a clean uniform look, and textile side panels keep it lighter than an all-leather boot. It suits security, law enforcement and corrections staff, and anyone else who needs a plain black boot that holds up to daily wear.

• Leather And Textile Upper — Smooth black leather covers the toe, heel and lacing area, and woven textile panels fill the sides of the shaft.
• Above-Ankle Cut — The tall shaft wraps above the ankle bone for more support than a low-cut shoe.
• Metal D-Ring Lacing — Black metal D-rings run the full height of the boot, so the laces slide easily when you tighten or loosen them.
• Mid-Lace Locking Hook — A hook partway up the lacing holds tension, which lets you lace the foot snug and leave the upper looser, or the other way round.
• Padded Collar — A cushioned leather collar with perforated panels sits around the top of the boot to reduce rubbing at the leg.

Construction And Fit

The leather sections are stitched over the textile panels with double rows of stitching along the heel counter and around the lacing. The sole wraps up around the toe and heel, which protects the lower edge of the upper from scuffs. Rothco is a commercial manufacturer, and this boot is new production, not military surplus.
