Classic Jungle Boot

The Rothco Classic Military Jungle Boot follows the familiar jungle boot pattern: a tall olive drab woven shaft over a smooth black toe and heel, set on an aggressive lug sole. The fabric upper is lighter and dries faster than an all-leather boot, which suits hot, wet ground and long days on foot. It works for field use, airsoft and reenactment, and for anyone who wants the traditional look in a commercially made boot.

• Olive Drab Woven Upper — The shaft is a tightly woven olive drab fabric, the muted military green that has been standard on field gear for decades.
• Reinforcing Ankle Strap — A band of heavy webbing stitched across the outer ankle stiffens the shaft where it flexes most.
• Webbing Collar And Heel Stay — Woven webbing binds the top edge and runs down the back seam, so the fabric edges are protected from fraying and abrasion.
• Black Toe And Heel Counter — The smooth black lower wraps the toe and heel, the areas that take the most scuffs and knocks, and the heel counter holds your heel in place.
• Screened Drainage Vents — Two mesh-covered vents on the inside of the instep let water and warm air escape after a crossing instead of sitting in the boot.
• Lace-Up Front With Black Eyelets — Black metal eyelets run the full height of the shaft with black laces, so you can cinch the fit snug from toe to collar.

Construction And Fit

The fabric shaft is stitched to the black lower with multiple rows of visible stitching along the toe and heel seams. The sole carries a molded Rothco logo, and the size is stamped on the sole, for example 9R. The boot is sold in several sizes, so check your usual size before ordering.
