Ruger BX-15 Magazine

This is Ruger's own BX-15, a 15-round .22 LR magazine built for the 10/22 rifle. It holds half again as many rounds as the 10-round rotary magazine most 10/22s ship with, so you spend more time shooting and less time reloading at the range. It also fits several other Ruger rimfires, which makes it a practical spare if you own more than one.

• 15-Round Capacity — The body is marked "15 SHOT" and holds fifteen cartridges in a single curved column.
• .22 LR Chambering — It is made for .22 Long Rifle, the common rimfire cartridge (primer in the rim of the case) used in most small-bore rifles.
• Steel-Lined Feed Lips — The lips at the top that hold each round in place and guide it into the chamber are lined with steel, so they keep their shape through repeated loading.
• Polymer Body — The magazine shell is molded polymer, which keeps weight down and will not rust.

Fit And Compatibility

The BX-15 fits Ruger 10/22 rifles and also works in the Ruger SR-22 rifle, the .22 Charger pistol, the American Rimfire and the 77/22 in .22 LR. Because it is a factory Ruger magazine, it uses the same magazine catch geometry as the original 10-round rotary, so no fitting or modification is needed. It drops in and locks up like the magazine that came with the gun.
