This is a detachable box magazine for the Saiga-12, the AK-pattern semi-automatic 12 gauge shotgun. It holds 8 rounds of 2.75" shells. Saiga owners use it to carry more shells per load than a short factory magazine, whether at the range, in practical shotgun matches, or in a home-defense setup. SGM Tactical makes it from polymer in the USA.

Features

• 8-Round Capacity — The magazine holds eight 12 gauge shells, a useful step up for longer strings of fire before a reload.
• 2.75-Inch Shells Only — The body is sized for standard 2.75" shells, so 3" magnum shells will not fit or feed from it.
• Saiga-12 Fit — The body is molded with "SAIGA 12" and built to the shotgun's AK-style rock-in pattern: hook the front lug into the magazine well, then rock it back until the rear catch locks.
• Polymer Body — The polymer shell keeps the loaded weight down on a shotgun that already carries heavy ammunition.
• Polymer Follower — The follower, the platform the spring pushes up under the shell stack, is also polymer.
• Chrome Silicon Spring — A heat-treated chrome silicon wire spring, a spring-steel alloy chosen for its resistance to fatigue, drives the shells up to the feed lips.
• Ribbed Exterior — Raised ribs around the body and a grid of ridges near the top give your hand something to find during a reload.
• Made In The USA — The magazine is molded with "Made In The USA", the SGM Tactical logo and a US flag.

Construction and Fit

The body is matte black polymer with a curved profile and a removable-style floorplate at the base, paired with a polymer follower and a heat-treated chrome silicon spring. It is made for Saiga-12 shotguns and takes 2.75" shells only. If you run 3" magnum loads, you will need a different magazine.
