The quality of this bag is fantastic! The inner zipper is the first I've ever seen and really appreciated. The size is exactly what I was looking for. Perfect for a backpack. It was the perfect sleeping option for a 2-night safari at a 3-star lodge. Would highly recommend.

If you're looking for a quality sleeping bag for reasonable money, this is a great choice. Snugpak items tend to be very well made, the snaps, zippers, the hems and stitching are very well done and durable, not something I'd say about some other brands out there, even at a higher price point. Snugpak is top notch and will stand up to rigorous use in even the harshest conditions. In a warm bag that is. I have an elite2 for colder temps, works just as advertised. If you have the chance, you should go into the military surplus stores and compare bags. Many of the sleeping bags you'll find are brand new. The military spends a lot of money replacing theirs, as most bags will only last 3-5 years in even the best of circumstances, or a few months tops in the worst, but they're brand new and 50-70% cheaper than a bag like this from the Snugpak line, so check them out if you can, but don't be too quick to judge the bags by a couple years shelf life. If you're going to be hiking in sub-zero conditions, it won't matter, but if you plan on using this as a regular piece of camping gear you'll get more than your money's worth. This bag comes with the snug pouch that makes packing up easier and gives you more options for keeping it out of the mud and sand when you're in a sand or dirt sleeping area, and I find it makes for easier use when packing the bags for traveling and camping, though it will not protect it from moisture if used in damp conditions. There are several ways to store the bag, the zipper and strap pulls have different ways to stow it for use in different ways and locations, which is great for easy packing and storage. One important thing to remember is the bag itself is a light-weight sleeping bag, and is not intended to use as an emergency sleeping bag or as an 'end-all-be-all' type bag

High quality bags. I’ve used them on overnight 12 degree camping trips in Maine, upstate NY and New Hampshire. Never froze and comfortable. 100% waterproof zippers and excellent vapor barrier so you stay warm and don’t soak the bag when wet. Snugpak bags rock. I use the Maxpak sleeping bag pouch as a stuff sack. They have an integrated zipper that will take a beating. I would highly recommend both of these products.

Not for super warm weather, but it does it's job

The footbox and zipper flap could be bigger. The bag has an offgassing smell. The interior nylon has been soiled by color transfer. The bag should be longer, and the bottom of the zipper would benefit from a sliding fly that keeps water out, similar to an ultralight bag I used to own. It doesn't work in 30 degrees with 40 mph wind, but it worked in 15. It will make you sweat a bit, so make sure you use a breathable shirt. You'll be warm enough, just not bivvy sack comfortable. Overall, worth it. The zipper can easily be fixed by adding about 12 inches to the bottom of the zipper flap. You can do this with heat and pliers.

I'm a carpenter by trade and have used sleeping bags all over Canada. Some have cost hundreds and they were great but not waterproof. For what you get for this price, I'm impressed. It's lighter and smaller than my old one but for being 3 seasons I can handle that. 6'2 and it is perfect for me, I would not have it any shorter but that is my size. The zip system and other small features were very thought out and useful. Overall I am very happy. Will buy more of these. It has not rained yet with it so I will add to this review if I need to

Love this bag, was really nice on a camping trip last summer. I use this bag all year round when camping out and using the bug out pack. This bag really is versatile and it is light and compact and great value. It really is a 5 start bag.
