Replaced My SureFire And Never Looked BackI've been carrying a SureFire G2X on duty for years and finally made the switch to the PolyTac X USB when my department stopped reimbursing CR123As... and honestly i'm glad it happened. The multi-fuel setup is a game changer i run the SL-B26 rechargeable pack during the week and just plug it in at the end of shift, no fuss. 600 lumens is plenty for traffic stops and building checks, the 205m beam reach is real, and the IPX-7 waterproofing has already been tested (accidentally) in a drainage ditch. The TEN-TAP programming took me maybe 15 minutes to figure out but once you set it to high-only you're basically done forever. Pocket clip is solid, rides head-down on my front pocket when i'm off duty without any drama. Build quality feels extremely close to the SureFire at less than half the price that's the whole conversation right there.
Way more affordable than SureFire with comparable performance
TEN-TAP programming has a learning curve
