Streamlight ProTac 2L LED Flashlight

<span>This is one of the best small lights you can get! I have 3 of them and one made it through the washing machine and still works. It's just the right size for your pocket as well.</span>

<span>I use this light all the time in my backpack or jacket pocket. Great light when hunting or hiking. Lightweight durable and has some good beam distance.</span>

<span>Mine worked so well I bought one for my wife too. Accidentally put it through the wash five times, no problems. Always have it on me, don’t even know it’s there!</span>

<span>Purchased this light recently because I lost the one I already had. I loved the original one that I had owned for several years, but soon as I took this new one out of the package I could tell it was a little off. It was substantially lighter than the one I had before. Half the time it won't come on and I have to tap it on the sides to get the thing to turn on. If you get a non-counterfeit one These are great flashlights but do not buy this one it is 100% counterfeit. Would give zero stars if possible.</span>

<span>Very bright light with great visibility for navigating the woods in the dark. I’ve only used a month and now the light seems to be stuck on low. I can’t get the 10-tap programming functionality to work as described by Streamlight no matter what I do. Very disappointed.</span>

<span>Extremely bright for its small size. The Ten-Tap feature is a plus, because I don't need the strobe mode. My only problem is battery life, so when I travel, I take extra batteries. My elderly eyes aren't what they used to be, so the flashlight is with me 24/7.</span>

<span>Excellent and value for the money. Can hang on belt with sleeve that comes with or stick it in your pocket with clasp that keeps it in place in pocket.</span>

<span>This is the perfect everyday carry flashlight. I carried mine for 6 straight years without any issues before losing it. Ordered another one workout hesitation. This light is compact, reliable, and built to last. I'd highly recommended it.</span>

<span>I live off grid. After years of a new cheap tactical flashlight every six months or so, I decided to buy the fancy one. six months later, it doesn't really work anymore: it turns itself off constantly, if it turns on at all, and it doesn't disassemble easily enough for me to diagnose and repair. Which makes me sad: I like the size and feel of this flashlight. I might have gotten one of the counterfeits that someone mentioned above: the o-ring in mine is black and the spring is silver.<br><br>If you want something tacticool to put in your pocket sure, but if you actually rely on a flashlight look elsewhere, at least at this price.</span>

<span>This is great little flashlight I use at work. It’s very sturdy and the dual light output is helpful. I usually use it in the morning before sunrise to check for any leaks on trucks or equipment before leaving the yard and have dropped it several times and has a few scratches but operates perfectly. Would 100% recommend.</span>

<span>Perfect size for work. Brightness is amazing. I really love the 3 functions. It seems like the other flashlights have sometimes 10 different function settings. In my opinion those are not necessary.<br>Three is all you need. Bright, strobe and dim. That's all we need. This light is perfect</span>

<span>The product was great for about 4 months. The batteries died and I swapped them out. Now the light will only work for maybe 2 weeks (only being used a couple times a week for 5 minutes each time maximum) and the light was never as bright as when it was first purchased. The four months it worked, it was great.</span>

<span>Bought this flashlight specifically because it uses CR123s. I keep it in my truck for an emergency light. With the CR123’s shelf life I don’t have to worry about the self-discharge of rechargeables and it’s got more light and lasts longer then AA or AAA types. Everything else is what you’d expect from a Streamlight.</span>

<span>Great flashlight. Very very bright. Battery life is a bit limited though. The light that burns twice as bright lasts half as long.</span>

<span>switch failed and quality is pretty junky as far as the electronics go. Will buy surefire next time. Buy once cry once.</span>

<span>There are some other brands that are considered the gold standard but you pay a ton more vs Streamlight. I have several of these lights in addition to other models. The lithium battery gives you a very long shelf life, ideal for leaving in a glove box, etc., and the two battery model is very bright. I have liked all their products I have used, and their customer service is quick and responsive, which is too rare these days.</span>

List below are from my experiences as a deputy sheriff working night shift:<br><br>- It is very bright for a small package.<br>- Fits perfectly in support hand.<br>- It just so happens to clip to the side of Safariland handcuff case like it was meant for it.<br>- 2 brightness levels are super useful. I have mine to low setting on first click, full power on second click.<br>- Tail-cap activation compliments modern weapon handling/ DT tactics.<br>- Slightly crowned bezel could be weapon of opportunity<br>- The clip is strong and has not lost its strength/shape despite 100’s of employments.<br>- Used as a backup, the batteries last for months!<br>- It has came in handy many times when the full size Stramlight Stinger had died while on a call, which is always at the worst possible time and place.<br><br>-Looking at some reviews that show it mounted on a weapon, I would not use this as a dedicated weapons light.
