Some days the training, the weather or the ruck march goes badly, and this Rothco patch says so without a word. It shows a stitched gauge with its needle swung toward the red end, under the words SUCK METER, and it fits on any loop panel on your plate carrier, pack or cap. A morale patch is a small, informal patch worn for humor or personality rather than rank or unit, and this one reads clearly from across a room.

Size And Attachment

The patch measures 2.5 inches wide by 1.25 inches tall and attaches by its hook backing to any gear with a loop panel, including tactical vests, plate carriers, transport packs, caps and jackets with loop fields on the sleeve or chest. It does not mount directly to MOLLE webbing, the rows of nylon loops used for pouches, unless that gear also has a loop panel. Rothco makes it as a commercial accessory, not issued insignia.
