These Surplus Body Armor Vests are an excellent value in protective clothing. With these vests you are able to purchase a USA made Kevlar vest at a fraction of the original price, with all of the benefits that come from being able to have access to a bullet proof vest. While these vests have passed their manufacturers expiration date, there is a long history of studies showing that Kevlar vests will continue to provide protection long after their manufacturer mandated expiration dates.

We receive shipments of police surplus body armor, like these vests, on a regular basis. When we get a large shipment in like we have now, we have the ability to sort and grade each vest based on the size and condition. These vests came from a state correctional agency, which wore the vests primarily during prisoner transport between facilities. These are not your typical worn-every-day while on the job police vests, while they show signs of use they show significantly less use than typical police surplus body armor does.
