- 3.8" Drop-Point Blade — Compact 3.8 in (97 mm) blade with a convex grind handles fine bushcraft work, batoning, and field-dressing tasks.
- Full Tang Construction — Stick-tang design runs the full length of the handle for the strength and rigidity expected of a true survival knife.

- Genuine Leather Belt Sheath — Traditional dangler-style leather sheath with a positive retention strap for secure carry on belts up to 2 inches wide.
- Sub-Arctic Proven — Field-validated by Swedish military aircrews operating in extreme cold, wet, and high-altitude environments.
- Compact Survival Profile — Overall length of roughly 8.3 in (210 mm) and a weight of about 5.4 oz (150 g) keep it light without sacrificing capability.
- Made in Sweden — Manufactured by Fällkniven to the same specification supplied to the Swedish Armed Forces.

The Swedes dont mess around with survival gearThis has been the standard issue survival knife for the Swedish Air Force since 1995 and after using it for a few weeks I completely understand why. The laminate cobalt steel blade is on another level — it takes an edge like nothing ive ever sharpened and holds it through abuse that would roll the edge on most knives. The Scandi grind makes field sharpening dead simple, just lay the bevel flat on a stone and go. At 3.8 inches the blade is compact but the full tang design gives it strength that belies its size. The checkered Thermorun handle is grippy even with wet or cold hands and the overall length of 8.5 inches makes it disappear on your belt. The leather sheath is beautiful too — thick black leather with solid retention, the knife clicks in and stays put. If Swedish fighter pilots trust this knife in sub-arctic conditions thats good enough for me.
Full tang construction is incredibly strong for such a compact knife
Price is higher than most knives this size but the steel and construction justify it
