Swedish 25L Water Bag

This olive drab water bag was made by Trelleborg for the Swedish Army and holds 25 liters, about 6.6 gallons. You fill it through a screw cap at the top and draw water from an outlet near the bottom, so it can hang from a hook or branch and work as a gravity-fed tap. Campers, overlanders and preppers can use it as a water store that packs smaller than a rigid jerry can. Collectors of Swedish kit will also want it for the original markings.

Swedish Military Issue

The Swedish military issued this bag for carrying and storing water in the field. The large stencil, Endast för renat vatten, translates as only for purified water, so the bag was reserved for treated drinking water rather than raw water or other liquids. It was built to an army stock specification by an established Swedish maker. That gives it genuine provenance a commercial camping bag can't match.
