Swedish Military Headlamp
The Swedish Military Head Lamp is a head mounted light that is still in use by the Swedish military. The fully adjustable head harness can be worn directly on the head, on top of hats, or helmets. The light fixture acts as an on/off switch and can be angled vertically to provide a light source for night time walks, activities, or repairs. Uses three standard D-cell batteries and is made to tough Swedish military standards.

Great Headlamp
Review by Steven
Received my headlamp. Used, but in great condition. Nothing broken, all parts functioned properly. I replaced the bulb with a 75 lumen, 1 watt led and it is amazing. Bulb cost a little more that the headlamp, but at this price, still a bargain.

Built to last.bright and well made.
I am going to look into led replacement bulb. If I can find one the battery life will be outstanding. I really like this thing. Very good buy

Excellent value for a quality durable headlamp
Review by Chris
I was excited to see this listing. Since when do you find a good ole' metal and cloth incandescent headlamp for 9 bucks when we all know full well the absence of quality in most of those overpriced >$100 plastic-fantastic headlamps found in todays hiking stores?
Mine was in decent though used shape when it came in. All I had to do was dab the cloth parts in warm water to wipe the dirt off, use some isopropyl alcohol for cleaning the battery contacts and rust (superficial) within its case, and apply some WD40 to the brass lamp housing so that it could turn easily again.
Looking forward to using this on those longer night walks when I don't want to carry a big ole' Maglite around. :)

Good, Durable Headlamp

While the leather bits do seem a bit worn, this device functions perfectly. I would recommend this item highly to those looking for a cheap, reliable light.

Old school quality light
Review by Eric
Tired of replacing all those plastic cheap headlamps that shatter when the temp hits -20, this is a no brainier! Metal housing, adjustable flood to spot beam, two extra bulbs, and I even discovered a blackout lense built right in behind the lamp! Didn't notice that on the description but a cool surprise!

Useful item, good deal
Review by Dave
Just unpacked 4 of these. All in great shape. Looks like 2 are unused. A little bulky, however heavy duty. Unlike pic on site, all reflectors were bright. Works great. I have had several LED "head lamps" in the past, all were plastic & broke some part that duct tape/glue could not repair. Again, Low Tech/ Heavy Duty, Military issue. W/ three D cell batteries. Usable time should be quite long. BATTERY CASE NOT WATER PROOF! "WD 40"/Drying after rain or water should maintain unit. Also of note, 2 extra bulbs stored in battery case. GOOD DEAL
