- Swedish Army Issue — Genuine military-issued headlamp built to Swedish armed forces specifications and used in the field since the 1970s.
- 3 D-Cell Power — Runs on three standard D batteries housed in a separate metal battery box (batteries not included).
- Belt-Mounted Battery Pack — Steel battery housing clips directly to your belt or pack strap, keeping weight off your head and the cable out of the way.
- Adjustable Head Harness — Fully adjustable strap system fits bare-headed, over a watch cap, or over a hard hat or helmet.
- Pivoting Lamp Head — 2.38-inch lamp housing tilts up and down so you can aim the beam exactly where you need it.
- Spare Bulbs Included — Ships with two extra 3.7-volt incandescent bulbs stored in the battery box for field replacement.
- Approximate 30-Meter Throw — Focused incandescent beam provides usable illumination out to roughly 30 meters (100 ft).
- Padded Forehead Pad — Cushioned forehead band keeps the harness comfortable during extended wear.
- Military-Grade Closure — Heavy-duty latch on the battery box seals the cells in place and stands up to rough handling.

Best vintage headlamp for the price.I bought this for a camping trip and it is actually really cool. It is definitely old school since it uses D batteries, but it feels like it will never break. The swivel light is super handy when I am trying to set up my tent in the dark.

Old School TechnologyThe one I received was in used but good condition, been in storage for some time. I like it! Not an LED just old style bulbs. Ultralight hikers BEWARE this item has some weight because it uses 3 D cell batteries! :)

Uses 3 D cell batteries. Light is weak by today's standards. LED conversion is up tp you.

Great HeadlampReceived my headlamp. Used, but in great condition. Nothing broken, all parts functioned properly. I replaced the bulb with a 75 lumen, 1 watt led and it is amazing. Bulb cost a little more that the headlamp, but at this price, still a bargain.
