These kept me bone dry all dayBought these for a late fall hunting trip and honestly wasnt expecting much since theyre surplus but WOW these things are LEGIT waterproof. Wore them over my regular camo pants during a pretty heavy rain and stayed completely dry from the waist down the whole time, like not even a little dampness. They feel a little stiff at first kind of like a rubberized rain jacket material but you get used to it after a few minutes of moving around. Only thing id say is the sizing runs a bit big on me but thats fine for pulling over layers.

Robust surplus rain pantsGot these for hunting and they keep the wet out real good. Wore them last weekend in a steady drizzle walking through brush and my jeans underneath stayed dry the whole time. The rubberized feel is a bit stiff at first but loosens up. Only nitpick is the sizing runs a little big so belt helps. Does what its supposed to and the olive drab looks proper military surplus.

Bought Another Pair, Thats How GoodYep this is my second pair. Bought my first ones maybe 6 months ago on a whim because they were cheap and I needed something to throw on over my work pants when I go out to feed the animals in the morning when its cold. Didn't expect much from surplus stuff honestly. Man was I wrong. The quality on these is no joke, the Swiss aparently don't mess around with there military gear. First pair still looks practically new even though I wear them several times a week.

Nice overpants for outdoor workI bought these to wear over my regular pants while working on my property doing landscaping and brush clearing. They are exactly what I needed to keep my clothes clean underneath without having to change every time I go outside. The elastic waistband with the button system gives a surprisingly secure fit and the zippered ankles make them incredibly easy to pull on over my boots in seconds. The Swiss really know how to make practical functional gear and these overpants are no exception.
