Tru-Spec Black BDU Shorts

WOW these fit good.. so many pockets. They feel durable and sturdy.. If your looking for casual, active, utility... I recommend this short. And shipping was super fast too..! Highly recommend!

Perfect fit. These were a gift for my 15 year old and he loved them. True to size. They do run a little long.

As usual these shorts fit as expected and were shipped quickly. These were also true to size and fit as you would expect if you have worn BDU's before. The drawback to these is that the adjustable waist tabs don't always reach the small end of their available range. If your measurements are just a bit larger than they are supposed to be then you will be in good shape. However if you happen to have a 36" waist, I would order the Large instead of Medium. The extra adjustment tabs will let you pull these down to a 36" waist. The XL will fit like a Large. I would also order the Medium in the length if you are in between.

These are good, basic, classic, all-around military BDU shorts. These are great for everything. They are just slightly larger than I like them. I am 5'9", and these are 10" inseam. I like them at about 9.5".

It seems Tru-Spec uses actual sizing instead of relying on vague and confusing waist sizes as other clothing manufacturers seem to. These are really good shorts.

They fit well but the back of the fly gets in the way of easy access to pocket and zipper pulls. Other than that they are great!

Nice but make a lil more adjustability in the waist size would be good

My go to for work and pleasure. I own more Tru spec pants and shorts than anything else and the work just as well as their competitors

I like the fabric and adjustment points on the sides to shorten or lengthen.

These are a new addition to my lifestyle shorts and will become one of my regular pairings as I do the outdoors work that I do. Above and beyond anything I've worn before in that area, my complaint with most shorts in this field is that once they are snagged by brush, twigs, or netted branches that their seams tend to wear through. And when they are held together by only a few buttons that it gets increasingly more of a challenge to reconnect them as the shorts disintegrate with wear and washing/drying. I am VERY happy to report that Tru-Spec uses buttons for every seam as well as buttoned reinforcements in the proper location, thus preserving these and giving you much more time with these great work shorts. The front cargo pockets hold an iPhone 6 Plus in their own compartment along with wallet, sunglasses, pens, etc... There is a side entry front leg cargo pocket, perfect for holding and dispensing ball caps, and finally a cargo back pocket. So when one is moving or running it eliminates the loss of small objects in the pockets. The two outside back pockets are perfectly sized for beverage cans. This pairing of form and function is the closest I've found to any garment that truly serves the purpose it was designed for and Tru-Spec nailed it!

Best damn shorts I've ever had! And these things are sturdy, you could drive over them and then park on them and not feel the slightest bit.

Good shorts, don't like drawstring so they are harder to get on/off but that's my preference. Not rip stop but the cotton feel much more durable. Good product overall

They are what I expected

Fit was slightly smaller than my actual pant size, which is common with these kinds of shorts. I’m 5’9” 180lbs. I ordered a large and wish I had gotten a XL. Good quality though and holds its color after washing. Very comfortable and a good value. Would recommend.

Lightweight but substantial. All 100% cotton ripstop is comfortable. No lining to keep you warm, but no problem if you're not afraid of the sun! No zipper to snag on things. One drawback, the adjustable tabs don't reach around to the full length. This does not seem like an unsolvable problem. A side adjustment tab with a plastic clip that locks in the length could easily solve the problem. (Unless it's too much trouble for T-S, in which case I'll just do without. :-) But these fit and look great!

perfect shorts. they work great for airsoft or the pool.

They are light weight and breathable, the button and adjustments on the sides are great. I wish they made these in cargo pants
