These wool blend mitten liners would be paired with extreme cold weather trigger finger mittens for additional layering. You can easily wear these mitten liners as stand alone mittens, or pair them with your favorite extreme cold weather mittens for enhanced warmth.

The US Military Wool Trigger Finger Mitten Liners are a pair of vintage wool trigger mitten liners. These mitten liners were produced and issued to soldiers who would be operating in areas of extreme cold along with the mitten shells. The addition of the trigger finger to these mittens allowed soldiers to fire their rifles without needing to remove their mittens, which was a huge improvement over the older traditional style mittens.
