Hands Stay WarmBeen using these under my D-3A leather shells on early morning deer stands and honestly they do exactly what theyre supposed to, keep the cold out without making your hands feel like youre wearing oven mitts so you can still work a trigger or buckle a strap no problem. The wool and nylon blend is the real deal, even when my hands got a little sweaty they still felt warm which was a nice surprise. One thing ill say is they do have a slight scratchy feel right out of the bag, took a wash or two before they felt really comfortable against my skin for long periods. But for the price and the fact that these are ACTUAL mil-spec issue, I cant really complain that much.
Warm even when slightly damp, wool blend really works
Thin enough to layer under a shell glove without losing dexterityA little scratchy at first, need a couple washes to soften up

Winter GlovesI slipped these coyote inserts inside my old leather gloves for a long walk in the snow and my hands stayed warm the entire time without getting clammy. They feel thick but not bulky which is nice. The wool is a bit scratchy on my knuckles after a few hours though.
Keeps hands toasty in freezing temps,
A little itchy after long wear

Perfect liner for my D-3As, warm even when dampGot these to wear under my D-3A leather shells and they're exactly what I needed for winter range trips. The Large fits true to size - I'm about an 8.5 inch hand measurement and they slide right in without bunching up. These are genuine surplus with the NSN markings, not some knockoff. Been using them about 3 months now in temps down to 25°F and my hands stay toasty. I machine washed them once on delicate and air dried no shrinkage issues.
Way better than the cheap acrylic liners I had before.

PracticalThese are solid military surplus glove inserts that work really well. The wool keeps your hands warm and the dual purpose design is practical. Already used them on camping trips and they perform well in cold weather.
