This is the US Army's MOLLE II 100-round utility pouch in UCP, the ACU digital pattern. It was issued to carry a 100-round soft ammunition pouch for the M249 SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon), but the roomy single compartment works just as well for a canteen, hand tools, a first-aid kit, or any bulk gear you want on the front of your rig. The label inside reads MOLLE II 100 Round Utility Pouch, NSN 8465-01-524-7365.

The pouch mounts through its rear straps onto any MOLLE or PALS platform, so it fits the full family of MOLLE II gear as well as most aftermarket packs and plate carriers that use the same webbing.
