Perfect replacement for my P1My 1975 P1 started getting light strikes and sure enough the firing pin tip was chipped. This dropped right in and got her running 100% again. Appears to be original German manufacture, not some cheap repro.
Fixed my light strike problem

firing pins do breakI have a P1. Let my son use it for a while to target shoot. Forgot to tell him not to dry fire the pistol. Well he dry fired it, ALOT. Went back to shoot and the P1 had a failure to fire issue. He broke the firing pin. Not a bad item to have around if you have a P1. Firing pins do break. Old parts are getting harder to find. Put back a few.
