Winchester M193 5.56 Ammo Range Pack

M193 5.56mm Range Pack

This 150 round box of Winchester M193 is practice ammunition for 5.56mm rifles, most commonly the AR-15. M193 is the US military designation for a 55 grain full metal jacket load, and Winchester builds this one to that pattern for target work. Shooters who go through a lot of rounds at the range, or need a predictable load for drills and zeroing, can buy it in a quantity that lasts more than one trip.

Features

• M193 Pattern Load — Built to the military M193 recipe, the long-standing standard for 55 grain 5.56mm ball ammunition.
• 55 Grain Bullet — The bullet weighs 55 grains, the lighter, faster option among common 5.56mm loads.
• Full Metal Jacket — A copper-alloy jacket covers the lead core so the bullet stays intact and feeds cleanly, which suits paper and steel targets.
• 3180 FPS Muzzle Velocity — The bullet leaves the muzzle at a listed 3180 feet per second and carries 1235 ft-lbs of energy.
• Heat-Treated Shellcase — Winchester heat-treats the case for strength, and the box lists this alongside consistent accuracy as a design point.
• 150 Round Range Pack — One box holds 150 cartridges, enough to fill five standard 30 round magazines.
• Printed Ballistics Table — The box shows velocity, trajectory and energy out to 500 yards, so you can plan holds without looking up data.
• Made In USA — The packaging carries Winchester's Made in USA marking.

Ballistics And Fit

With a 200 yard zero, the printed table shows the bullet 1.5 inches high at 100 yards, 7.5 inches low at 300 and 22.9 inches low at 400. Velocity falls from 3180 fps at the muzzle to 2425 fps at 200 yards and 1516 fps at 500. This is 5.56mm NATO ammunition, so check the chamber marking on your barrel and fire it only in rifles chambered for 5.56mm.
