This is Winchester's commercial loading of M855, the 62 grain steel-core round that has long been standard US military issue for the M16 and M4. It is boxed for range training, target practice and high-volume shooting from rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. Each box holds 20 rounds, built in the USA under Winchester's Target & Practice line.

Fire this ammunition only in firearms chambered for 5.56x45mm NATO. Rifles marked .223 Remington alone are not rated for 5.56 NATO pressures. The bullet contains lead and steel, so it is not lead-free, and some indoor ranges restrict steel-core ammunition. Check your range rules before you bring it along.
