Winchester USA 5.56x45mm NATO is a 55 grain full metal jacket load built to the M193 pattern, the US military designation for the original 55 grain 5.56 ball round. It is sold under Winchester's Target and Practice line and suits training, zeroing and high-volume range days with an AR-15 or other rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO. Each box holds 20 rounds.

Fit And Specification

This is a 5.56 NATO load, so use it in rifles chambered for 5.56x45mm or .223 Wylde. Firing 5.56 NATO in a chamber marked .223 Remington only is generally not recommended, because the military load runs at higher pressure. The darker band visible at the neck and shoulder of each case is a normal finish mark on military-pattern brass and does not affect function.
