Fit And Installation

On an AR-15, the magazine catch passes through the lower receiver from the left side, and the button threads onto its end on the right with the catch spring seated between them. Fitting a new button means turning it onto the catch shaft until the catch sits at the correct depth to hold a magazine. The catch and spring are not included, so check that yours are serviceable before installing.
