Description
M-16 Replacement Trigger
This is a single M-16 trigger from United Defense, made to replace a worn or damaged trigger or to fill an empty slot in a parts kit. It is one part of the fire control group, the set of trigger, hammer, disconnector and springs that holds the hammer back and releases it when you pull. Builders and armorers who keep spares on the bench will recognize the familiar curved profile right away.
Features
- M-16 Pattern Trigger — The overall shape follows the M-16 layout, with a front sear tail, central pivot and rear extension in one piece.
- Curved Trigger Shoe — The shoe, the part your finger rests on, has the classic smooth curve with raised edges running down its length.
- Pivot Boss With Pin Bore — A raised round boss at the top carries the bore for the trigger pin, the cross pin that holds the trigger in the lower receiver and lets it rotate.
- Front Sear Tail — The forward extension has a squared engagement face, the edge that catches the hammer and holds it cocked until the trigger is pulled.
- Stepped Rear Extension — The long rear arm has a stepped top surface and relief cuts near the pivot, matching the profile shown in the photographs.
- Black Finish — The trigger is finished in plain black with a lightly textured surface that matches most rifle builds.
- Single Part — You receive the trigger shown in the photographs, so plan to source the hammer, disconnector, springs and pins separately if you need them.
