FireDragon Solid Fuel

The BCB FireDragon is a solid fuel block for cooking and boiling water in the field, when a gas or liquid stove is more weight than you want to carry. Each block comes sealed in its own foil pot: peel the lid, light it, and set your pan or mess tin on a stand above it. It is carried by hikers, campers and soldiers who need a compact heat source that works straight out of the pack, including in wet or cold conditions.

• Denatured Ethanol Fuel — The block is made from denatured ethanol, an alcohol-based fuel that burns clean with little soot on your cookware.

How To Use It

Peel the foil lid off the pot and set it on a stable, non-flammable surface or inside a compatible stove. Light the top of the block, then place your mess tin, pot or kettle on a stand above the flame. The block burns down over several minutes and extinguishes once the fuel is spent, leaving the foil tray to be disposed of with your other packaging.
