Hi-Power Cleaning Mat

The TekMat Browning Hi-Power mat gives you a padded, non-slip surface to field strip, clean and reassemble your pistol without scratching the finish or marking the table. An exploded-view diagram of the Hi-Power is printed across the right side, with every part numbered and named in a list on the left. If a spring or pin goes missing, or you forget the order things go back in, the answer is under your hands. It suits Hi-Power owners at any level, from someone doing a first detail strip to a collector who has owned one for decades.

• Exploded-View Parts Diagram — A line drawing shows the Hi-Power taken apart, laid out the way the parts fit together, so you can see where each one sits.
• Numbered Parts List — Each part in the drawing carries a number that matches a named entry in the printed list, covering the slide, barrel, recoil spring guide, sear, magazine safety, rear sight components and more.
• Production History Panel — The mat also prints the pistol's background: designed by John Browning and Dieudonné Saive between 1921 and 1935, with origins in the United States and Belgium, and manufactured by Browning.
• 11 x 17 Inch Work Surface — At 11 by 17 inches (about 28 x 43 cm), there is room for the stripped pistol, tools and small parts without crowding.
• 1/8 Inch Vulcanized Rubber Base — The base is heat-cured rubber 1/8 inch thick, which cushions parts and protects both the gun and the bench.
• Non-Skid Backing — The rubber underside grips the table so the mat stays put while you work.
• Thermoplastic Fiber Surface — The top layer is a fiber fabric bonded directly to the rubber base, and it is waterproof and resists gun oil and solvent spills.
• Dye-Sublimation Printing — The diagram is printed by dye sublimation, a process that sets the ink into the fabric fibers instead of leaving it on the surface.
• Washable And Rolls Up — You can wash the mat when it gets dirty, and it rolls up for storage in a range bag or drawer.

Construction And Size

TekMat builds the mat in layers. A thermoplastic fiber top is vulcanized straight onto a 1/8 inch rubber substrate, with no separate glue layer between them. The print is white on black, so small part numbers stay easy to read under bench lighting. The finished mat measures 11 x 17 inches with rounded corners and lies flat when unrolled.
